Hey my fellow phone flasher toady i have the stock rom/firmware for the BLU DASH JR 4.0 K D143K. This is the latest rom/firmware release for this particular BLU model, the android version is 4.4.2 Kitkat. This is a low budget phone that anyone that is not too tech savvy will love, because of its sleek design and easy to use user interface. If you have experience flashing phones then you can go right ahead and download and install the rom/firmware to your phone. A link to the rom/firmware download can be found below.
For all of you out there that have never flashed a phone before or those that are new to flashing, you can get step by step instructions on how to flash this rom/firmware to you phone from below.
Instructions
- Download the rom and create a new folder and extract it there.
- Next is to open SP Flash Tool......If you dont have sp flash tool you can download it here.
- Then you have to click on scatter loading and navigate to the folder where you extracted the rom, you will see a scatter.txt file click on it and click open.
- The next step is to set the program to download only and then click download with green arrow above it.
- Now connect the phone via usb without the battery.
- Then put the battery back in and wait for the program to flash the rom to the phone (DO NOT INTERRUPT THIS PROCESS AND DO NOT TRY TO TURN ON PHONE WHILE THE PROGRAM IS STILL RUNNING)
- When the process is complete you will see a white tick in a green circle, now you can disconnect your phone and that is it you now have a brand new firmware installed on your phone.
